Hey There,
I'm Dr. Harriet Singelyn (she/her) and I'm a licensed psychologist. I believe in an anti-racist, intersectional feminist, trauma-informed, and Health at Every Size-aligned approach to my work (and my life outside of therapy!)
I knew I wanted to be a therapist early on in my educational career. How did I know? Because people matter deeply to me, and I love talking and reading about the what, why, and how of humanness. I was, and continue to be, driven by curiosity and a hope to make a difference. In my opinion, the most important aspect of treatment is the relationship you build with your therapist. Therefore, the most important tool I utilize is bringing my authentic self into our sessions. What does that mean, you ask? Well, I strive to bring my personality, creativity, and humor into our space. I greatly value the building and maintaining of trust, safety, and connection throughout our time together. During treatment, we move at your pace, utilizing approaches that meet your unique needs in therapy. My goal is to help you engage in self-exploration, build a practice of self-compassion, and transform the way you relate to yourself and others.
You have a rich inner world that is waiting to be discovered.
With deep respect and gentleness, I am ready to go there with you.

About Me
When I’m not wearing my therapist cap, I’m likely doing puzzles and crafts, playing cozy video games and not-so-cozy board games (I’m competitive, okay?!), trying desperately to keep my plants alive, and exploring San Antonio with my family and friends. I love getting lost in a good book and am an avid reader of romance and fantasy. Admittedly, I’m also obsessed with reality television, and will watch anything and everything on Bravo. I’m a wife, daughter, sister, friend, and proud pug mum who moves through life with pinches of curiosity and playfulness!
